Formerly the Mont St. John Winery, Madonna Estate is located in the Carneros region in Napa County. The present winery was established in 1977 by the Bartolucci family, who have been growing grapes and crafting wines in the Napa Valley since 1933. The winery offers primarily estate-bottled Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Johannisberg Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Muscat di Canelli, all from organically grown grapes. Gift shop on pemises; also creekside picnic area. Tasting and sales daily 10am-5pm; tours by appointment. Tasting fee: $5.00.
